Your data stays on your server, under your full control. OpenClaw is open-source and runs locally. We don't have access to your data after delivery, unless you authorize us for support.
Yes! "I host it" means we implement and you run hosting and AI subscriptions. "All inclusive" means we run hosting, your primary AI model, updates and support. Heavy pay-per-use APIs (voice, image, SMS, maps, etc.) are scoped in the project — they can be included up to an allowance or passed through transparently.
Self-hosted: besides setup, you pay for AI (Claude/GPT), server, WhatsApp Business, and variable costs if the agent uses them — transcription/audio, TTS, image generation, file storage, official WhatsApp API conversations/templates, SMS, high-volume email, maps, CRM API limits, embeddings, etc. "All inclusive" bundles the agreed package (typical chat + AI); high-consumption integrations are aligned in the contract.
Usually yes: providers charge per minute, per image, per GB or per request. We make this explicit when designing flows and can estimate a monthly cap or restrict features to your budget.
